Job Description:

Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra (a non-profit adaptive Sports School at the Main Lodge at Mammoth Mountain) is looking for instructors to teach adaptive ski lessons using the American Teaching System to people with disabilities. A passion for fun and working with people with disabilities in a winter environment is a prerequisite for this position. Good verbal communication skills are a must. May assist with the adaptive equipment maintenance.
 
This position is 40 hours per week and includes weekends and holidays from approximately September through May for the 2007-2008 season.
 
Job Requirements:

Certifications needed:

• PSIA Adaptive Level 1
• PSIA Adaptive Level 2 (desired)
• PSIA Alpine Level 1 (desired)
• AASI Snowboard Level 1 (desired)

Experience:    Minimum two years adaptive ski teaching
