The SummerFest Tour is a calendar of events that lists national and local programs across the U.S from the Spring through the Fall months.
The goal is to provide a centralized resource for participants, competitors, parents, coaches and anyone with an interest in disability sport.
There are now more than 35 sports and recreational activities from the traditional Golf, Cycling and Tennis to the more extreme Skateboarding, Wind-Surfing, Rafting and SCUBA diving.
|
Most activities are offered by a chapter of Disabled Sports USA, at various sites across the country and can include a variety of instruction and participation opportunities including competitive events, learning clinics, recreational opportunities as well as symposiums and education for coaches and instructors.
Participants should contact the program they are interested in directly using the details provided for each listing. Program and event coordinators may include their event by writing to intern@dsusa.org.
The SummerFest Tour annually offers a select number of programs financial assistance to help boost the growth and development of summer opportunities for people with a disability. To find out more contact events@dsusa.org.
